This Writ Petition has been filed for direction to the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 26.04.2022 for compassionate appointment.

The petitioner's mother worked as a Scavenger in the second respondent Corporation and died on 12.02.2022. On the demise of his mother, the petitioner filed an application seeking appointment on compassionate grounds.

In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner seeking an appointment on compassionate grounds, on the demise of his mother and pass orders appointing the petitioner in the suitable post, if otherwise he is eligible, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
