ORDER

This petition has been filed to give police protection to the petitioner plant.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner Company after obtaining necessary permissions installed solar power generation plant at

Patlapalli Panchayath and some of the villagers are disturbing the same. Hence, they filed the present petition seeking police protection.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Collector had held peace Committee meeting and directed the petitioner to deposit Rs.1,54,627/- towards charges for giving police protection. The said amount is also deposited. However, only for a few days, the protection was given.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that some villagers are disturbing the plant.

5. In such case, whenever there is a law and order problem, it is the duty of the Police to give necessary protection to the petitioner.
