ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct an enquiry and forthwith pass final orders on the appeal of the petitioner dated 23.01.2025 bearing reference Na.Ka.No. CLRREV/1462/2025/U2 filed for setting aside the order of 3rd respondent in its proceedings O.P.No.3562 of 2024 dated 07.12.2024, by applying the law laid down by this Hon'ble Court in the decision reported in
2025 MHC 788 for cancellation of settlement deed dated 21.12.2015 registered as Document No. 489 of 2016 on the file of the SRO, Kodambakkam.
By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
Heard Mr.S.Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. K.H.Ravi Kumar, learned Government Advocate, who has taken notice on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1 to 4. In view of the order passed by this Court, notice is not necessary to the fifth respondent.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 o 4 states that the enquiry in the appeal will be completed within a period of four weeks.
5. The above said statement is recorded.
6. There shall be a direction to the first respondent to complete the enquiry in the appeal within a period of four weeks from today. In case, the private respondents does not co-operate with the first respondent, he need not wait for the appearance. It is open to the first respondent to proceed and pass orders.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed. 16.05.2025 vsg Index: Yes/No Internet: Yes/No Speaking / Non Speaking Order To 1.
