CMP Nos.5020 to 5026 of 2016 in WA SR Nos.103476, 103451, 103466, 103471, 103480, 103461 and 103456 of 2013 The Hon`ble Mr Justice SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI and The Hon`ble Mr Justice V. BHARATHIDASAN Heard both sides. Having examined the reasons assigned in the affidavits filed in support of the petitions and also in view of the question of law involved herein, the delay of 759 days in representing the writ appeals is condoned subject to payment of Rs.5,000/- as costs in each case to the respondent, within a period of two weeks. It is made clear that the said amount shall be recovered from the officials, who are responsible for causing the delay. In the event of any failure on the part of the petitioners in making the payment of costs within the stipulated time, these miscellaneous petitions shall stand dismissed automatically without further reference to this Court.
