[Respondents] Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 25.11.2014 thereby consequently directing the respondents to grant permissions and approval in accordance with law for the petitioner property being the land situated at Door No.31 Harrington Road Chetpet Chennai-31 measuring about 686 Square feet morefully described in the schedule hereunder pending on the file of the respondents. ORDER

Heard Mr.M.Sunil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned counsel, accepting notice on behalf of respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal.

2. The petitioners seek for a direction upon the respondent Corporation to consider the application for grant of planning permission for construction of a building in Door No.31, Harrington Road, Chetpet, Chennai-31.

3. It is seen that the respondent Corporation by communication dated 05.06.2014 intimated the petitioners that their application for demolition and reconstruction dated 26.12.2012 has been kept pending for want of production of property tax receipt, encumbrance certificate and parent documents.

4. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners vide their representation dated 25.11.2014, have produced all the documents as sought for by the respondent Corporation and the same has been acknowledged.

5. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 25.11.2014, verify as to whether all the documents called for have been produced and thereafter pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
