Respondents Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to set aside the fair and decreetal orders made in Election OP No.195 of 2011 by the Principal District Judge, Cuddalore dated 11.12.2013 thereby allow the said election petition and to declare that the petitioner is the duly elected candidate in the election held on 17.10.2011 of panchayat president of Azhagappasamuthram Village Panchayat, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District.

ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition has been filed challenging the rejection of the election O.P. filed by the petitioner in Election O.P. No.195 of 2011 before the Principal District Judge, Cuddalore.

2. As seen from the records, the tenure of the 4th respondent, who was the elected representative has already come to an end in the year 2016 itself. This being the case, this Court is of the considered view that the Civil Revision Petition filed by the petitioner has now become infructuous. Even if any order is passed in favour of the petitioner in this Civil Revision Petition, it would not enure to his benefits as it will be an inexecutable order.
