ORDER
Heard Ms.Kanimozhi Mathi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate, accepting notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.
2. In the light of the direction which this Court proposes to issue in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 4 to 6 is dispensed with.
3. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the 3rd respondent to conduct an enquiry on the reqeust made by him for grant of patta by changing the patta from the name of his father Venkatesan to his name.

4. It appears that the petitioner's father's brother K.G.Krishnan raised an objection. Therefore, the 3rd respondent issued a notice on 03.10.2013 to the petitioner as well as K.G.Krishnan and directed him to appear for enquiry on 08.10.2012. It is stated that the petitioner appeared for enquiry, but K.G.Krishnan did not appear. It is stated by the petitioner that K.G.Krishnan died leaving behind respondents 4 to 6 as his legal heirs.
5. In view of the subsequent development that the legal heirs of K.G.Krishnan are to be heard, there will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the legal heirs of K.G.Krishnan, who are respondents 4 to 6 herein, directing the parties to appear in person and after conducting enquriy, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a *Period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
