PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to investigate the complaint dated 22.12.2018 by any Inspector of Police within the City of Chennai other than Inspector of Police R-10, M.G.R.Nagar, Police Station, Chennai to register the F.I.R against the Lakshmiammal.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent Police to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner herein dated 22.12.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.13681 of 2018 and batch of cases, dated 20.09.2018, the petition of this nature is not maintainable before this Court. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out her remedy in accordance with the guidelines given by the Hon'ble Division Bench in the decision referred supra.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
