Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.P.Shanthi, learned counsel appearing for the respondents. With the consent of either side the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 2.The Petitioner is an association said to be consisting of persons who are trading in the plat forms in Vellore Municipal Corporation area. The petitioner, now seeks to quash the tender notification issued by the respondent/Corporation calling for the tenders from persons, who could collect toll from plat-form vendors. The petitioner is under the apprehension that if the tenderer is appointed, there will be lot of other problems to be faced by them and the tenderer would arbitrarily interfere with their business activities.

3. The plea raised by the petitioner's association is thoroughly mis-conceived. The corporation for the purpose of the welfare of public is involved in the process of collecting toll. In fact the procedure adopted by the respondent-Corporation, ie., calling for the tender is in consonance of Tender Transparency Act. Therefore, there is no error in the procedure adopted by the Corporation and hence the Writ Petition fails and the same is dismissed. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
