Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 10.06.2019 submitted by the petitioner and thereby direct them to fix and assign Guide Line Register (GLR) Value for the petitioner's land comprised in Re-Survey No.163/3, Reddiyarpalayam Village, Oulgaret, Puducherry after classifying his land as residential area instead of GP(Government Poramboke)

so that enabling the petitioner to sell his property and execute sale deed in favour of some third party.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for direction directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 10.06.2019 submitted by the petitioner and thereby direct them to fix and assign Guide Line Register (GLR) Value for the petitioner's land comprised in Re-Survey No.163/3, Reddiyarpalayam Village, Oulgaret, Puducherry after classifying his land as residential area instead of GP(Government Poramboke) so that enabling the petitioner to sell his property and execute sale deed in favour of some third party.

2. Heard, Mr.Prakash Adiyapadam, the learned counsel for the petitioner, and M/s.V.Usha, Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry) appearing for the respondents 1 to 6.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2019 and the documents which are produced in this writ petition to substantiate his contentions and, after giving him opportunity of hearing and on receipt of records from the Director of Adidravidar Welfare Department, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that the petitioner is at liberty to submit all the documents which are produced in this writ petition to substantiate his contentions before the first respondent.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
