ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Government Advocate for respondents 2 to 5.

2. Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 2 to 5 would submit that the sale deed vide Doc.No.5598/2013 dated 08.08.2013 was directed to be cancelled by the fourth respondent vide proceedings dated 17.11.2022 and the same is now reported to this Court.

3. This Court is informed that the original sale deed which is now cancelled by the proceedings of the District Registrar on 17.11.2022 was impounded by 2/4

the District Collector, Chennai under Section 47A of the Stamp Act. The District Collector is directed not to hand over this document to the purchaser thereof.

4. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected sub application stands closed.
