Heard Mr.S.Jayaseelan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting for the respondent.

2. With the consent of either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks a direction upon the respondent to issue Legal Heir Certificate based on her representation dated 01.11.2014.

4. The petitioner would state that she is the second wife of one Angamuthu, who was a retired Electricity Board staff and who died on 12.07.2012 and the first wife of Angamuthu also died on 09.09.2002 and thereafter, the marriage between the petitioner and Angamuthu took place. Based on these facts a representation dated 01.11.2014 was given by the petitioner seeking Legal Heirship Certificate, and the same is pending before the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. In the light of the above facts, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim in the representation dated 01.11.2014, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
