O R D E R

The petitioner was dismissed from service by the District Collector vide order dated 01.02.2012. The said order was confirmed by the Director of Town Panchayat, Chennai. The petitioner, without filing a review petition before the Government, filed a writ petition in W.P.No.20350 of 2012. This Court, having found that the petitioner has got a right of filing a review petition before the Government, dismissed the writ petition, giving him liberty. The petitioner, pursuant to the liberty granted by this Court, by order dated 31.07.2012 in W.P.No.20350 of 2012, filed a review petition before the Government. The present request is to consider and pass orders on the said review petition as expeditiously as possible.

2. The respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the review petition filed by the petitioner dated 26.08.2012 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the review petition along with a copy of this order so as to enable the respondent to consider and dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
