Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to forbear the second respondent from interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the House site land bearing Plot Nos.4 and 5 measuring 2862 square feet each comprised in Old Survey No.181/16, New Survey No.181/16E and 181/16F of Peerkankaranai Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus to forbear the second respondent from interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the House site land bearing Plot Nos.4 and 5 measuring 2862 square feet, each comprised in Old Survey No.181/16, New Survey No.181/16E and 181/16F of Peerkankaranai Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. The case of the petitioners is that they have purchased house site bearing plot Nos.4 and 5, through registered sale deeds, dated 08.02.2018 and registered as Document Nos.976 and 977 of 2008 in Sub Registrar Office, Tambaram. Since the date of purchase, they have been in possession and enjoyment of the property. The petitioners have alleged that, on 02.03.2010, the Executive Officer, Peerkankaranai Panchayat, had interfered with their right by putting up sign board in their land and hence they have come up before this Court by filing this writ petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the Display Board was already removed and the respondents will not interfere with the right of the petitioners in enjoying the lands.
4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is closed, as no further adjudication is necessary. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
