2. The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the appellant shall not be entitled to interest for the period of 685 days.

3. Considering the fact that sufficient reasons have been given in the affidavit filed in support of the petition for condoning the delay.

Hence, the delay is condoned.

Subject to the condition that the appellant/petitioner is not entitled to any interest for the said period i.e, for 685 days.

4.The Registry is directed to number the appeal.
