Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of Plot No.37, comprised in Survey No.162/6 and 162/7 of Theeyambakkam Village, presently Thiruvottiyur Taluk, Thiruvallur District, based on petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2015. Heard Mr.S.Angamuthu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. With the consent of either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks a direction upon the third respondent to issue patta in his favour in respect of Plot No.37, comprised in Survey No.162/6 and 162/7 of Theeyambakkam Village, presently Thiruvottiyur Taluk, Thiruvallur District, based on his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation dated 21.01.2015.

4. The petitioner purchased the property in question on 29.08.2011 and since then he has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. He submitted a representation dated 05.06.2014 to the third respondent to issue patta in his favour. Since there is no response, he again submitted another representation dated 21.01.2015 to the third respondent. Since no order is passed on his representations, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

5. In the light of the above facts, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim in the representation dated 21.01.2015, there will be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
