Respondents * * * PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to pass necessary orders in the matter of issue of patta to the petitioner with respect to his lands measuring 60 cents comprised in old S.No.428/4 and new S.No.1151/1-20, Rangampatti Village, Pochampallli Taluk, Krishnagiri District, and the fourth respondent to make necessary entries in the revenue records as per the orders that may be passed by the second respondent within the time that may be fixed by this Court.

Heard Mr.P.Mani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents.
2. With the consent of either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the second respondent to pass necessary orders with regard to the petitioner's claim for grant of patta.
4. It appears that the petitioner's application was processed and the first respondent conducted an enquiry and the entire file is now forwarded to the second respondent vide proceedings Mu.Mu.6523/2013/J2, dated 14.03.2014 and the same is pending before the second respondent. This fact has been confirmed by the reply dated 10.12.2014 issued under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005.
5. Since the file is now under the consideration of the second respondent, there will be a direction to the second respondent to consider the report/direction given by the first respondent, conduct an enquiry into the matter, by issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the parties likely to be affected and afford them an opportunity of personal hearing and thereafter, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
