Application No.4384 of 2019 in O.P.No.58 of 2017 PUSHPA SATHYANARAYANA, J.

This application is filed seeking an order extending the time for passing the award, in the Arbitration proceedings initiated, pursuant to the orders of this Court in O.P.No.58 of 2017.

2. It is stated that the extended period of Arbitral Tribunal expires on 12.07.2019 and the arbitration proceedings are in the stage of arguments on the side of the respondent. It is also stated that two of the learned Arbitrators were stationed outside Chennai. Hence, the applicant prays for extension of time for completion of arbitration proceedings.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on both sides.

4. With the consent of learned counsel on both sides, time is extended by two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for completing the arbitration proceedings. The parties should endeavour to complete the arbitration proceedings within a period of two months.
