The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.01.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(C) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in crime No.3 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. According to the case of the prosecution, based on the secret information, respondent police found the petitioner herein with the possession of 8.500 Kgs of Cannabis. Hence, the case.
3. There are totally two accused, in which the petitioner is arrayed as A1. Both the accused were in joint possession of 21 Kgs of Ganja.
4. That apart, the petitioner is having 10 previous cases of similar nature and failed to satisfy the twin conditions as contemplated under Section 37 of the NDPS Act .
