ORDER

(Made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN., J.) Heard learned counsel for the writ petitioner and learned Government Advocate for R1 and R2.

2.Notice to R3 is dispensed with.

3.The petitioner alleges that the third respondent has committed encroachment in S.No.216, which is said to be a Government Poramboke land. The petitioner has already moved the second respondent in this regard. The second respondent has taken cognizances of the petitioner's complaint as is evident from the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 14.12.2024, enclosed at page No.17 of the typed-set of papers. 4.We direct the second respondent to conduct survey. If it is ascertained that the third respondent has encroached on a Government land, the said encroachment will be removed. The second respondent should however follow the procedure set out in the relevant Statute including issuing notice to alleged encroacher(s). The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 2/4
