O R D E R
Heard Mr.M.Arunkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents.
2. With the consent of either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the first respondent to issue appropriate order to the second and third respondents to disburse the sanctioned bill amount of Rs.16,224/- with 18% interest per annum, within a time frame by this Court.
4. From the reply given by the second respondent dated 16.09.2014, it is seen that the respondents are willing to settle the bill, provided the procedures are complied with. It has been stated that the Measurement Book 5705A has been called for from the office of the third respondent and as soon as the same is received, the Bill will be settled.
5. In the light of the stand taken by the second respondent in the communication dated 16.09.2014 addressed to the learned counsel for the petitioner, there will be a direction to the third respondent to forward the Measurement Book 5705A to the second respondent within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the M-Book, the second respondent shall consider the particulars furnished therein and settle the petitioner's bill for payment in accordance with law within a period of six weeks thereafter.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
