ORDER

The relief sought in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to regularize the service of the petitioner by appointing her as full time sweeper on completion of 10 years of service in the post of part time sweeper and to pay the consequential benefits with arrears within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2.Upon notice, the respondent filed a detailed counter affidavit, inter alia stating that the petitioner was a part time employee and her duty was only to keep clean the office and was present for one hour in the morning from 9.00 to 10.00 am; the Government has not sanctioned full time Sweeper post to this respondent office, with time scale of pay; and hence, the claim of the petitioner cannot be considered by the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is no more and hence, the writ petition may be closed, with liberty to the legal heirs of the petitioner to approach the authority concerned for any other relief.

4.Granting such liberty, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
