Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2015 consequently direct the respondent to issue patta with respect to the property bearing S.Nos.247/8, 247/1, 247/4, 247/5, 247/7, 248/1, 246/1B, 247/10, 248/2B and 247/19 situated at Siruvankoor Village, Kallakurichi Taluk, in favour of the petitioner. O R D E R

Heard Mr.N.Subramani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Govt. Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondent.

2. With the consent of either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seek for a direction upon the respondent to consider her representation dated 09.02.2015 and to issue patta with respect to the property bearing S.Nos.247/8, 247/1, 247/4, 247/5, 247/7, 248/1, 246/1B, 247/10, 248/2B and 247/19 situated at Siruvankoor Village, Kallakurichi Taluk, in her favour.

4. The petitioner states that she is the wife of Late.Sakthivel, who was granted patta jointly along his parents in Patta No.1253. After the demise of her husband, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 09.02.2015 to include her name in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the patta along with her mother-in-law, as she is the legal of her husband. She produced the Legal Heirship Certificate dated 23.03.2011.

In the light of the above facts, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other joint pattadars as well as the petitioner's mother-in-law Palaniammal and giving them an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
