ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of his representation dated 30.01.2015 within a stipulated time.

2. Mr.Fakkir Mohideen, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent and submitted that the respondent may be directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a stipulated time.

3. According to the petitioner, he approached the Labour Court, Cuddalore, by filing C.P.No.5 of 2009 and the Labour Court, by award dated 20.06.2012, directed the respondent to pay the amount for the period from 2005-06 and 2007-08 and for the Golden jubilee celebration. Since the award of the Labour Court was not complied with, the petitioner gave a representation dated 30.01.2015, however the respondent has not considered the same so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into account the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.01.2015 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
