Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2019 and consequently to direct the 2nd respondent to relive the petitioner and direct the 1st respondent to accommodate the petitioner as Nursing Superintendent Grade-II, in Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital, Trichy attached to K.A.P. Vishvanathan Medical College in the existing vacancy.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2019 and consequently to direct the 2nd respondent to relive the petitioner and direct the 1st respondent to accommodate the petitioner as Nursing Superintendent Grade-II, in Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital, Trichy attached to K.A.P. Vishvanathan Medical College in the existing vacancy.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed as staff Nurse on 06.01.1992 in Stanley Medial College and Hospital, Chennai. Thereafter, the petitioner was transferred to Pudukottai District and further transferred to Trichirappalli and served up 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to 28.03.2018. At present, the petitioner is working as Nursing Superintendent Grade II, in which the petitioner was issued transfer order on 14.03.2018 with promotion and thereby the petitioner joined as Nursing Superintendent Grade II in Government District Head Quarters Hospital, Ariyalur on 28.03.2018. The petitioner is working in Ariyalur and the native of the petitioner is Trichy and everyday she is travelling from Trichy to Ariyalur, beside she has to take care of his cancer surviving husband.

Hence, she made a representation to the respondents for transfer from Ariyalur to Trichy. The said representation was not considered. Hence, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that it would be suffice to issue a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation in accordance with law.

Without expressing any opinion, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2019 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
