Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. With the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.Petitioner seeks for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 18.02.2015.
3.Admittedly, the land in question was Government land assigned to landless poor. Petitioner is said to have purchased portion of the property from the sellers who obtained the land by way of assignment. As per the terms and conditions, the lands cannot be sold.
4.At this juncture, no positive direction could be granted to the District Collector to consider the petitioner's representation in a particular fashion. Accordingly, while declining to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner, liberty is granted to the petitioner to pursue his representation before the respondent which shall be considered in accordance with law.

5.This writ petition is dismissed with the above observation. No costs.
