Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to bring and produce the detenu, namely, Jaganathan, aged 67 years, who is the petitioner's father, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the detenu, namely, Jaganathan, aged 67 years, who is the petitioner's father, before this Court and to set him at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3.The detenu was found to be missing from the year 2017 onwards. The complaint was given on 02.11.2017 by the petitioner, who is the son of the detenu. The detenu is aged https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

about 67 years. Now, the present writ petition has been filed on 20.03.2020.

4.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenu is yet to be traced and he left the home due to misunderstanding with the family members.

5.In such view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition stands closed. However, the second respondent shall continue with the investigation.
