ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the existing damaged concrete road and lay a fresh tar road in the public street known as Gopala Menon Street in Vepery, Chennai.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Learned Standing Counsel for Chennai Corporation informs the Court that the existing concrete road would be removed and a fresh tar road will be laid in the petition mentioned property viz., Gopala Menon Street in Vepery, Chennai. Learned Standing Counsel states that the work will be carried out within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
