O R D E R

The Writ Petitioner has come forward with the aforesaid prayer, to direct the 2nd respondent to release the Multi Axle Goods Vehicle Taurus Tipper Lorry bearing Reg.No.TN-12-B-7673 of the petitioner.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the Multi Axle Goods Vehicle Taurus Tipper Lorry bearing Reg.No.TN-12-B-7673 and the same was parked at the trucker terminal containing sand loaded from Government authorized quarry and on 25.02.2015 at about 7 p.m, the same was seized by the 2nd respondent and had not assigned reason for seizing the vehicle. Further, the petitioner submitted a representation on 27.02.2015 seeking release of the vehicle. Since, the same was not considered till date, he has come forward with the aforesaid prayer.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
