The petitioners, who apprehend arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act and 132 of BNS, in Crime No.188 of 1/4

2025, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 2.500 kilograms of Ganja. The respondent, after following the mandatory provisions, seized the entire contraband. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have has nothing to do with the alleged offence and they have been implicated in this case, only based on the confession statement of the co-accused. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that there are totally seven accused in this case, in which the petitioners are arrayed as A6 and A7. Based on the confession, the petitioners have been implicated in this case. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 2/4
