ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No.19 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The gist of the allegations in the FIR is that the petitioner and the other accused cheated the defacto complainant and others promising to secure jobs by accepting monies and that they issued fake appointment orders. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the entirety of the allegations in the said FIR as against the petitioner are false to the knowledge of the defacto complainant. The petitioner has been unnecessarily and falsely implicated in the FIR. The defacto complainant is a complete stranger to the petitioner and there has been no direct communication between the defacto complainant and the petitioner. Hence, he prayed for anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that this is a case of job racketing and investigation is pending and prayed for dismissal of the petition. 5.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record. 6.Considering the nature of offence of job racketing and investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 7.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 14-07-2025 gbi Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
