ASHA, J, The above petition is filed to condone the delay of 246 days in filing the appeal against the judgement and decree dated 09.01.2019 and made in MACTOP No.1241 of 2014 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, III Court of Small Causes, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the appellant shall not be entitled to interest for the period of 246 days.

3. Considering the fact that sufficient reasons have been given in the affidavit filed in support of the petition for condoning the delay.

Hence, the delay is condoned. The appellant/petitioner is not entitled to any interest for the said period i.e, for 246 days.

4.The Registry is directed to number the appeal.
