The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondents police for alleged offences punishable under Section 406 and 420 IPC in Crime No.150 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner received a sum of Rs.15,50,000/- to make defacto complainant's son to participate in Indian Premier League (IPL) and he failed to do as promised. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to furnish substantial sureties for his due release on inter-state anticipatory bail and ready to abide by any condition imposed by this Court. Therefore, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner received Rs.15,50,000/- in order to secure opportunity in Indian Premier League (IPL) and cheated the defacto complainant. Therefore, he

vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. This Court, by an order dated 01.06.2022, granted inter-state anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Subsequently, the time was also extended to the petitioner by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.8562 of 2022. Even then the petitioner never complied with the conditions imposed by this Court and failed to execute any sureties as directed by this Court. Now, the petitioner is come forward with this present petition for second inter-state anticipatory bail. Therefore, it is nothing but clear abuse of process of Court and it will not be considered by this Court. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
