This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.277 of 2021 pending investigation before the first respondent.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 31.07.2023, this Court passed the following order:

"The learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the investigation was completed and final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Alandur and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.687 of 2023. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that they filed a copy application before the concerned Court seeking for the certified copy of the charge sheet and the same was returned on 24.7.2023 stating that the case is still at the FIR stage.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners shall verify as to whether C.C.No.687 of 2023, pertains to Crime No.277 of 2021. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) shall also take instructions in this regard.

3.Post this case under the same caption on 07.08.2023"

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was confirmed that the final report has been taken on file and it is pending in C.C.No.687 of 2023.

4. In view of the above, liberty is granted to the petitioners to challenge the proceedings pending before the Court below, if they are aggrieved by the same.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 17.08.2023 NCC: Yes / No Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No vji / veda
