It is seen that right from 05.09.2022, the learned counsel for the petitioner has been seeking time to bring the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner on record. This Court on 05.09.2022, 07.08.2024 and 27.08.2024 granted sufficient time to the learned counsel for the petitioner to implead the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner on record.

2.Even today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that inspite of his earnest efforts, he has not been able to contact the legal heirs to implead them in the writ petition.
3.As the petitioner has not been able to take steps to implead the legal heirs inspite of several opportunities given for the past two years, this Court is of the view that no purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending. The writ petition is therefore dismissed as abated. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
