ORDER

The writ petition is filed for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to execute the sale deed in favour of the petitioner in respect of Plot No.358-B, having a total extent of 141 Sq.Mtr. situated at Door No.16/66, Jayaprakash Street, GKM Colony, Chennai-82.

2. The petitioner was alloted Plot No.358 by the respondent pursuant to the proceedings issued in the month of 1994. According to the petitioner, he has paid entire installments without any default. Thereafter, a request was made to issue the sale deed as construction also has been put up. No Objection Certificate was also issued by the respondent on 14.8.2006 stating that there is no dues from the petitioner. It was also followed by water connection and sewerage connection. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that despite several representations have been made, no sale deed is executed.

3. Though no counter is filed, this Court is not inclined to adjourn the matter any further.

Taking into consideration, the pendency of the petitioner's representations dated 20.11.2013 and 24.02.2015, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders towards execution of sale deed in favour of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
