ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of his revision petition dated 21.09.2014 filed under Section 153 of the Co-operative Societies Act, within a stipulated time.

2. Mr.D.Venkatachalam, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents and submitted that the second respondent may be directed to dispose of the revision petition dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

21.09.2014 within a stipulated time, provided the papers are in order.

3. According to the petitioner, though the revision petition was sent to the second respondent on 21.09.2014, the same has not yet been disposed of.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the second respondent to dispose of the revision petition dated 21.09.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided the papers submitted by the petitioner are in order. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
