ORDER
Petition seeking bail in connection with Crime No.92 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 125(a), 126(2), 75(2) of BNS, 2023, read with 04 of TNPHW Act, 1998, is on board for consideration. 2.
The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, in an intoxicated condition, rode a motorcycle and allegedly misbehaved with a woman in a
public place, thereby causing annoyance to the public. Hence the case. 3.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and has been falsely implicated in this case. He also submitted that the petitioner is suffering incarceration from 19.03.2026 and he is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for the grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.
Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for the grant of bail. He further submitted that the investigation is still pending. 5.
Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6.
Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of allegations, submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
