[Made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.,] The learned counsel for the petitioner would fairly submit that the present writ petition has been filed challenging the punishment order of the Disciplinary authority namely, the Principal District Judge, Tiruvannamalai. During the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner preferred a statutory appeal before the Registrar General, High Court, on 11.05.2026.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the Appellate Authority to dispose of the appeal.

3. In view of the said submission, the Appellate Authority is directed to consider the appeal and pass final orders by following the procedure as Page Nos.2/4

expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
