The petitioner prays for a mandamus, directing the first respondent, being the Director of Municipal Administration Department, and the Municipal Chairman and Keezhakarai Municipality/second respondent, to consider his representation, dated 21.03.2014.

2. Certain allegations have also been levelled as against the private respondent, for whom a learned counsel has entered appearance, but, does not appear now.

3. Learned counsel for second respondent states that, he is not in a position to confirm whether the representation, dated 21.03.2014, has been disposed or is yet pending.

4. In such circumstances, let the concerned Authority look into the matter, and if the representation is still pending, issue notice to the petitioner, call upon him for hearing and dispose the same within a period of six weeks from today.

5. With the aforesaid direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
