The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the defacto complainant and the accused have settled their dispute through mediation and therefore, the complaint need to be quashed. 3.
If any settlement between the defacto complainant and the accused, the same may be reported to the police who is investigated the matter and on such report, the Investigating Officer shall take appropriate action on the complaint.

With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
