Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the Statutory Appeal filed by the petitioner dated 06.11.2012 along with additional grounds raised on 08.12.2014 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Munusamy, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the first respondent to dispose of his statutory appeal dated 06.11.2012 preferred as against the order passed by the second respondent dated 15.06.2012.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondentTamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation submitted that if the appeal is in order, the appellate authority may be granted sufficient time to dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law.

4. In the light of the above submission, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal petition preferred by the petitioner dated 06.11.2012 on merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders on the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
