ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences under Section 103(1) of BNS in Crime No.67 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that since the first accused had Page No.1 of 4

severed her illicit relationship with the deceased/ brother of the de facto complainant, the deceased/victim had demanded the money given by him to the first accused, due to which, there was a dispute between them. On account of which, the first accused along with other accused murdered the victim. Hence the case.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner/A3 is innocent and even the name of the petitioner does not find place in the FIR and he was implicated in this case only based on the confession given by the first and second accused. The petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed on him. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds that the custody of the petitioner is very much required in this Page No.2 of 4

case, therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
