This criminal original petition has been filed to transfer C.C.No.15 of 2001 on the file of the Principal Special Court for CBI Cases/VIII Additional Court, Chennai, to the file of the any other competent Court in Chennai.

Heard Mr.V.Ramamurthy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Srinivasan, learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent/State. 4.

On a perusal of the petitioners affidavit, he has not made any serious allegations against the Presiding Officer, but, it is his grievance that the Presiding Officer is hurrying the trial.

In the opinion of this Court, this is a case of the year 2001 and it appears that there is a direction by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Supreme Court in a connected case to complete the trial on a day-to-day basis in a time bound manner and hence, this Court does not find any good reason to transfer the case to any other Court. However, the trial Judge shall proceed with the trial without in any manner influenced by the fact that the petitioner had moved this Court for transfer. The trial Judge shall also give a fair hearing to the learned counsel for the accused. In the result, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
