ORDER

The petitioner is working as Sub-Inspector of Police (Armoury), attached to the Battalion now stationed at New Delhi. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he was not given promotion to the post of Inspector of Police (General), by taking into consideration the date of the 'B' list in the rank of Sub-Inspector of Police (Armoury). The petitioner submitted a representation to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the first respondent on 27.06.2014, requesting to fix the seniority in the cadre of Sub-Inspector of Police(Armoury) and to promote him to the post of Inspector of Police (General). Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Heard the learned Senior counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.6.2014, on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
