Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to pass an appropriate order on their representation dated 24.11.2017 within a time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the first and second respondents. Since this writ petition is being disposed of without passing any adverse order against the third to fifth respondents, affecting their interest directly, notice to them is dispensed with.

2. The petitioners seek for a direction to the first and second respondents to consider their representation dated 24.11.2017 and pass orders on the same. In the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation, the petitioners made certain allegations against these private respondents in respect of the Management of the Temple, namely, Arulmigu Karupurayasamy and Mariyamman Temple, Lingagounden Puthur, Vadavalli, Coimbatore District.

3. The grievance of the petitioners is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the allegations made in the said representation either against these private respondents or against any other persons, as it is for the first and second respondents to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. However, as it is stated that the said representation has not been considered by the first and second respondents so far, this writ petition is disposed of without expressing any view on the merits of the matter only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioners and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as the third to fifth respondents and also other interested persons, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
