ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant leave under the Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence Rules, 1982, to the convict prisoner viz., Kadiriyappan S/o.Ramu, aged about 49 years, (CT No.3174), who is presently lodged in Central Prison, Vellore, for the purpose of attending the marriage of his younger daughter on 10.09.2021.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate [crl.side] submitted that the leave application of the convict prisoner viz., Kadiriyappan, is under active consideration.

3. In view of the submission made, this Court directs the respondents to dispose of the leave application of the convict prisoner viz., Kadiriyappan (CT No.3174), before 10.09.2021, on merits and in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
