Respondents in all W.Ps Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to dispose the petitioners' representation dated 07.10.2014 at the earliest point of time as may be fixed by this court. Pleader COMMON ORDER The petitioners have filed the above writ petitions to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the petitioners' representation dated 07.10.2014, within a stipulated time.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that they have given representations to the first respondent on 7.10.2014 to fix the compensation for the lands acquired by the respondents. According to the petitioners, though the representations were given as early as on 7.10.2014, the first respondent has not considered the same yet.

3. Mr.R.Lakshminarayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents and submitted that the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the representations dated 07.10.2014, within a stipulated time.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petitions, without expressing any

opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 07.10.2014 on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
