The petitioner claims to be the owner of the house property covered in Survey No.584/11 total extent of 3.05 cents situated in Sithalur Village, Kallakurichi Taluk, Villupuram District, subsequent to a purchase, which was registered as Document No.672 of 1999 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Nagalur. After constructing a house, he has been residing there with his family members for several years without patta in his name. Hence, he has approached the respondents for issuance of patta on the basis of the Sale Deed.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner also submitted that the petitioner has been paying the house tax without any default and the electricity charges in addition thereto. The electricity bills also clearly show that the petitioner is the owner of the house property in question, therefore, the respondents may be directed to consider the request of the petitioner for issuance of patta.
