Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein not to discharge the petitioner from her Bachelor of Dental Surgery studies at the third respondent college, consequently enabling the petitioner to continue her Bachelor of Dental Surgery studies at the third respondent college.

When the case was taken up for hearing on 10.01.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner herein. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted today i.e., on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

22.01.2018 under the caption "for dismissal". 2.Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through any counsel. 3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the relief sought for herein is to direct the respondents not to discharge the petitioner from the third respondent college, so as to enable her to continue her studies and the same does not survive at this distant point of time.

4.In view of the above submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
